The number one question we asked full time RVers with cats was what type of litter they used and what did they do to keep the litter from tracking all over the RV. Our biggest reaction was that the tracking of litter was a constant struggle for most. We has tried several types of litter and several different rugs and mats. All with pretty much the same results. While the cedar litter was the best smelling, it was the worst at getting tracked all over the RV. Our latest test of litter and mat has been the most successful, so for any of you out there who are fighting the daily litter battle. we finally have found a solution. Clay litter is a smaller granule, so it clumps super tight. The rug we chose was a little less expensive than it’s competitor, and it works great. It is a big rug, but if you would prefer it smaller, you can put some of under the litter box instead of having it all out front. It vacuums over really easy. The litter falls down into it off of kitty’s paws when she steps out, or even as she jumps out of the litter box and gets trapped into the fiber of the mat, not spread around to be scatter on the floor. Awesome mat and litter combination, and it really works. Check out the links below to purchase these items. You may have to copy and paste them, for some reason, the “click the link” feature isn’t working at the moment, but I am trying to get that fixed.
