A Great Way to Rid Your RV of Gnats and Small Bugs

In the spring and summer, we had a real issue with gnats getting into the camper, even with the doors and windows constantly closed. Anytime we opened the door to come in or out, they saw an opportunity. The smallest crack, they would invite themselves on in. Sticky strips were annoying and gross. No way we wanted to spray around our cat. (Although there is a pet friendly spray for ants on the other hand.) Gnats just seemed to be in the mountain air, particularly during moist days. We found a small, inexpensive bug zapper on Amazon that works great! It plugs into a 110 wall outlet and has a slight blue glow to it that attracts these pesky little things. It doesn’t make a sound at all. The only way we knew it was working was the fact that the gnats were gone! It must’ve scares away flies too, because we didn’t see that many flying around indoors after we got the little zapper either. It really is virtually silent. Just check it every week or so to dump it. We are so glad we found this thing, especially since we have decided to try our luck helping with rebuilding in Florida for the winter season. We’ll test it on gnats there for sure! If you’re interested in checking one of these little zappers out for yourself, please click the link below. We are members of the Amazon Affiliates Program and it helps us to continue having them as a sponsor when their links are clicked through our site. Thank you for all your help with that. This little zapper really made our RV more livable through the “buggy” summer months without having to have fly strips hanging around or other forms of pesticides.
