More Macon County (Franklin, NC) Quilt Squares

As you know, the Franklin, NC Quilt Trail website is down and we can’t find out who runs it, so we have no idea where all the squares there are and their names. But, we will keep you posted on where we find some when we travel through Macon County. Here are two we spotted off Rickman Creek Road. There is a detour now turning off Rickman Creek (town side) because they are working on the bridge. It takes you around the backside of Cowee, which was perfect to see the squares we never knew were there. We saw another on a yellow house right as you turn onto the road, but we missed it on our way back somehow. So, when you drive through Cowee, keep your eyes peeled, there may be more. (Don’t forget the ones on the church and the old general store from our blog before). Also, turning onto Needmore off 74, there is one right on the corner (pictured third here).
