Welcome to southeasternrvliving! We hope you find this site informative, and of some benefit to you. This site is a work in progress so please check back regularly for new content, and subscribe to receive email updates. We created this site to log our travels, and adventures, and because most sites about full-time RVing focus on full-timing in the western part of the U.S.A.. We want to show there are plenty of opportunities, and wonderful sites to see in the southeastern part as well.
We are a working age, married couple living full time since the fall of 2016 with our cat in a 2016 Keystone Passport, 28′ travel trailer. While we are fairly new to living in a travel trailer, this is our third one in 14 years. We always dreaded the end of a camping trip and going back home to resume the same old daily routine. One day we just decided this is what we really wanted to do, so we sketched out a plan on how we were going to do it. Of course nothing in life ever goes as planned but we do not regret our decision. Very few people regret the things they do, it’s always the things they didn’t do that keeps them up at night.
Due to seasonal employment for income we are currently spending the summer, and fall of 2017 in western North Carolina. We are also workamping for our RV spot and will be blogging on that subject as well. We will possibly be relocating to Florida for the winter, if that is where our work takes us. While we are here, as well as along our future journeys, we will be blogging about the local sites and not so obvious places to visit. We will also be sharing how to prep your rv for boondocking, and many other subjects related to full-time rving. Feel free to post questions about things you might like to know about rv life. We also welcome your thoughts and suggestions and look forward to learning from our visitors.
